Manoj Saxena works clinically as an Intensive Care Physician at St. George Hospital in Sydney and holds a NHMRC Fellowship at the George Institute for Global Health at the University of New South Wales. Manoj leads a program of work in Thermoregulation in the Critically ill and has facilitated the additional development of a Neuromonitoring stream. Other research interests include collaborating on large scale trials including early mobilisation, fluid management and sepsis. He is the Treasurer of the ANZICS-CTG and an Examiner for the College of Intensive Care Medicine.
Manoj believe that life outside of medicine is increasingly important! He is happy to talk about this too … as well as mindfulness, walking, lifting free weights, guitar playing, soccer, tennis and his patient and giving wife and children.
