Charlene Thornton

Associate Professor Charlene Thornton is a midwife and an epidemiologist at Flinders University and her research interests include benchmarking outcomes following high risk pregnancy and the use of linked population data to assess the effect of maternal health conditions and diagnoses on pregnancy, birth and beyond. Charlene is a reviewer for the NHMRC and the Cochrane Library in the areas of neonatology and IPD methodology and has designed, implemented, analysed and developed research programs for the past 15 years at Western Sydney University in the schools of Nursing and Midwifery and Medicine and the NHMRC Clinical Trails Centre at the University of Sydney.
