ANZICS/ACCCN Intensive Care ASMs are the premier meetings on intensive care in the southern hemisphere, attracting more than 1000 health care professionals each year. Each conference incorporates the Australian & New Zealand Annual Scientific Meeting on Intensive Care, the Australian & New Zealand Paediatric and Neonatal Intensive Care Conference and the Australasian Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrician (AuSPEN) Annual Scientific Meeting.

These conferences brings together health care professionals from across Intensive Care including medical, nursing and allied health. Delegates come from Australia, New Zealand and further afield.

Two professional organisations, The Australian and New Zealand Intensive Care Society (ANZICS) and The Australian College of Critical Care Nurses (ACCCN), have joined forces to produce this sucessful, internationally recognised conference collaboration for over 30 years.

The conference moves around Australia and New Zealand on a rotational basis. For a list of previous conferences click here.

This year the ANZICS/ACCCN Intensive Care ASM will be combined with 15th Congress of the Asia Pacific Association of Critical Care Medicine to stage the Asia Pacific Critical Care 2008 Congress and will be held in Sydney on 30 October – 2 November.  It is expected to attract approximately 1500 delegates from across Australia, New Zealand and the Asia-Pacific region.
