Event Information

Destination: Adelaide, South Australia

Adelaide, the capital of the vibrant festival state of South Australia, is most famous for its food and arts. The city has a large variety of things to see and do all within walking distance of the Adelaide Convention Centre.

With a population of slightly more than one million, Adelaide is the "20 minute city". The airport is only seven kilometres from Adelaide city. The Adelaide Hills and major beaches are less than half an hour away by car. That's what we call liveable!

You might want to immerse yourself in the culture of Adelaide's North Terrace, with its museums, and art galleries, or do some shopping at Rundle Mall and Rundle Street and stop to enjoy its street side eateries. Try the local produce and experience the vibrant atmosphere of the famed Adelaide Central Market, or taste award-winning wines at the National Wine Centre.

If you are taking the opportunity to stay in Adelaide before or after the conference you may wish to see a little more of what South Australia has to offer. Highly recommended are the internationally renowned Barossa and McLaren Vale wine districts as well as the Haigs Chocolate Factory and the Giant Pandas at the recently renovated Adelaide Zoo.
